Advertising affects my life in many different ways. It helps me decide what to buy, when to buy, and where to buy. When I was younger I would browse through all the different Sunday paper advertisements as well as glance through all the different catalogs my grandmother had at her house. Television was also a big key to me begging my parents for toys. Now that I am older, I think that magazines, billboards, and the Internet have taken over my buying habits.
The last time advertising influenced my purchasing decision was last night when I had to decide what to eat. It came down to Highlander's Pizza because of the coupon that I received in the mail. I think that another effective advertisement is this Joy of Pepsi commercial, I found on You Tube. This commercial is hysterical, only 30 seconds, and it gets the message across beautifully.

I think that this Lowe's Advertisement is very ineffective because it is so boring and aimed towards a very certain niche.
